The way we utilize our PVC gives us a choice when it comes to printing , we can print onto a vinyl adhesive sticker (The vinyl can also be laminated to increase durability and longitivtiy) and place the printed vinyl onto the PVC via a process referred to as mounting. During mounting the vinyl material has its wax paper peeled off to uncover the glue on the back of the material. The vinyl acts as a big sticker that is easily applied to our PVC Signs by our Certified Miami Installers . Another option is printing directly on to the board which would require a flat bed printer. Our Production floor is equipped with a highly efficient flat bed printer for all your PVC prints. Lastly, the third common way coroplast signs can be created is with cutout vinyl decal shapes numbers and or symbols which is done by running the PVC material through a router that trims the board to the desired shape and size.

What is PVC?

PVC is a lightweight and rigid board of moderately expanded closed-cell polyvinyl chloride (PVC) which is extruded in a homogeneous sheet with a low gloss matte finish perfect for printing on. As for the printing processes we have available for these signs, the most common is a Flatbed Printing with UV ink. The second is a solvent print onto a pressure sensitive vinyl that is mounted on the PVC. Custom PVC signs are similar to Sintra. PVC can also be referred to as Plastic Signs. PVC is suitable for both indoor & outdoor signage solutions. PVC plastic signs are available in a variety of colors, sizes, and can be easily be fabricated by sawing, drilling, welding, laminating, routing, die cutting, and heat transfer service offered in Miami. PVC signs can be any size, it comes stock in 4’ x 8’ sheets, so if you need PVC bigger than that don’t worry because we can tile or panel the sign together using special methods.
